CELEBRATION THE BIRTHDAY

The NSS Unit of Nagarjuna Institute of Engineering, Technology & Management, Nagpur, celebrated the birthday of Savitribai Phule in the Institute on Tuesday, 3^rd January 2023 at 03.00 pm.

 The Incharge of NSS Mr. Sachin Mate has expressed his views about Savitribai Phule. He said, “Savitribai Phule was the first woman, who stand alone for the girl’s education, took lots of efforts to make women educated and make available the first girl’s school in Pune, and in memory of such Honorable women this day is celebrated”. 

Many Students also gave speeches on “Contribution of Savitribai Phule”. Through this program, students learned about Savitibai Phule’s early life and what she contributed to society and women’s empowerment. For the said program Institute’s Principal Dr. Sanjay M. Kelo, Prof. Atul Akotkar, Prof. Mrs. Aswini Walde, Prof. Ms. Bina Rewatkar, Prof. Mrs. Priya Farkade, Prof. Ms. Diksha Bansod, Prof. Ms. Swati Sontake, Prof. Mr. Mahesh Bakshi, Prof. Mr. Rasik Upadhey, Prof. Ms. Kalyani Fulzele, Prof. Mr. Shailendra Kartar all members of Non-Teaching staff, First year & Second-year students were present. The program met with resounding success & was greatly appreciated by all the members.
