Wipro Conducts Mega Place

In a significant boost to campus recruitment opportunities in Central India, Wipro Technologies, one of India’s leading IT services companies, conducted a Mega Placement Drive at the Nagarjuna Institute of Engineering Technology and Management (NIETM) in Nagpur this week.

The event saw participation from hundreds of aspiring engineering graduates from NIETM and other neighboring institutes. The drive was organized in collaboration with the college’s Training and Placement Cell, with the objective of providing top-tier job opportunities to students in the Vidarbha region.

According to T&P Cell NIETM, more than 500 students registered for the drive, out of which over 68 candidates were shortlisted after multiple rounds of aptitude tests, technical interviews, and HR discussions. The selected candidates were offered positions in various roles with competitive salary packages and onboarding schedules starting early next year.

Dr. M. K. Rahangdale, Principal of NIETM, expressed pride in the students’ performance:
“This placement drive is a testament to the quality of education and training at NIETM. We are delighted to host Wipro and look forward to more such fruitful collaborations.”

Representatives from Wipro Miss. Simeyn Kharbe, Mr. Siddharth Sharma & Mr. Pawandeep Gandhi appreciated the hospitality and infrastructure provided by NIETM for conducting the large-scale event smoothly. They also praised the preparedness and technical competence of the students.

The success of this drive adds another milestone to NIETM’s growing reputation as a regional hub for talent and industry engagement. The institution plans to host similar mega drives in collaboration with other top-tier companies in the coming months.
