Role of Training & Placement
Training Placement Cell acts as a platform for interaction of students with industry. The department is developed for mutual benefits of industries and students. The efficient working of department involves associations with industries to facilitate training, getting live projects as well as providing placement assistance to its students. The activities organized by the department are guest lectures, seminars and also students are send to attain seminars/exhibition/workshops organized by various government research organizations such as NEERI, CICR, CIAR. To bridge up the gap between industry and academia students are promoted to go for vacation training which plays an important part. The department regularly arranges the vocational training program.
Students are motivated to take part in Tech fest organized by leading IIT institutions so that students get awareness of cutting edge technology, global social, commercial, technological trends and to inculcate multidisciplinary interests. Final year projects are decided based on the industrial need which requires co-ordination with different department of industry.
Activity of Training & Placement
N.I.E.T.M enjoys many benefits that add dynamic relationships between corporations and the college. A full time Training and Placement Officer works under the direction of the Principal. The department is provided with assisting staff as per their requirement. The eligible student of 3rd & 4th year, appear for campus interviews conducted by various companies arranged by T & P Department.
The department is in continuous touch with several organizations in IT as well as the core industry for campus interviews at the college. The department makes continuous efforts to identify needs of industries at maximum possible extent. Students are prepared for industries to cope up with the company needs. . It regularly conducts technical lectures, career development programs, guest lectures on personality development, resume writing, group discussions and interview techniques and provide other inputs to make our students better employable.
